Motion Storyline is not MEGACORP. Firebase is used extensively for cloud data storage. Beam analytics are used to track page views and origin of anonymous users. From their website: Beam does not collect any personal information, does not use cookies, does not track users across websites, and is GDPR compliant. 'Cookies' (browser session storage) are used to persist data between pages (based on a user uid). Subscription payments are made through Stripe API, and no sensitive data is stored outside of Stripe protocols that cover security and compliance. Many popular open source project, some created by large companies (FB, Google, MS, etc), are used extensively - all of which are available on Github.

Your personal information is never sold or considered for any type of murky ethical use - in any way - ever.

That being said, this page still uses a boilerplate (generated) Privacy Policy.
